The goal of the talk is to take some time at the end of the year to really slow down and understand what’s going on. We’ve been seeing a lot of disappointing and scary news coming out of COP28 and that means we not only have to look at all of the facts to understand the solutions, but we also have to take a deep breath and not let our emotions cloud our judgment.
We are all incredibly invested in the climate, and whether you’re working in wildfire, carbon reduction, disaster prevention, or all three, it’s an insanely turbulent space that deserves attention from different angles - human, tech, science, and community.
